WITS meets 7.30 pm every Wednesday,
at Riverside Gardens Community Centre
55 Riverside Boulavard, Douglas.
Membership is $25 per year and $2 per meeting. ($22 Concession) Non members are welcome to attend two sessions for free, after which we do ask you to become a member.
Writers in Townsville Soc Inc. aims to foster excellence in writing at all levels for adults, with the ultimate goal of achieving publication.
ALL WELCOME
(Come along, read out your latest writing, (maximum per evening, two pages) and receive constructive criticism from a friendly, helpful, group of people who enjoy writing and who believe in helping each other strive for their goals.
Whether you write fiction or non-fiction, poetry, newspaper and magazine articles, essay and reports, western or romance, sci-fi or fantasy, crime or horror, it doesn’t matter, come along and join in the sharing of knowledge.
We will encourage you by assisting in writing, research, editing, proof-reading, self-publishing, etc.
Exchange of manuscripts for editing and critique is encouraged.
